Preparing a God-fearing generation who love and serve God and set an example for their friends.
A Sunday school club with a great commission
We aim to prepare children to become a God-fearing generation who love and serve God according to the Scriptures and sound ethical values, and who serve as an example to their friends of other Christian traditions.
The fundamental objective of the club is to fulfil the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20): teaching the Scriptures and making disciples who are led into fellowship with Jesus.
The sole purpose of the club and its Sunday school education is to lead each child to the saving knowledge of Christ and to develop a sound mind and spirit in a sound body.
Christian education for the whole person
To achieve our objectives, we plan, organise and deliver Christian education through:
- Local Sunday school workshops and seminars
- Camps, trips and fellowship activities
- Bible study and devotion
- Drama, music, dance and poetry that share the Gospel
This education equips children — and even adults — to lead exemplary lives: spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. Christian education is not only about theological knowledge; it is about forming young people to paint the vast canvas of life with truthfulness, integrity and similar virtues that will not fade, even in the evening of their lives.
Faith
Spiritual wisdom and the quest for truth are instilled at an early age through prayer, Scripture and the sacraments.
Character
Moral and spiritual values are taught so that every child can tell right from wrong and choose what is good.
Partnership
We rely on the help and support of parents and priests to mould each child into a complete person in the Catholic faith.
